Quality & Testing

How We Verify Every Batch

Third-party analytical testing by Janoshik Analytical Laboratory. All results publicly verifiable. No internal verification.

Our Testing Process
Who tests ViloLab products?+
Every batch is tested by Janoshik Analytical Laboratory, an independent third-party testing facility with no affiliation to ViloLab or our suppliers. We do not conduct testing internally.
When is testing performed?+
Testing is performed on each batch before it is listed for sale. We do not sell compounds before receiving a satisfactory test result.
Where are results published?+
All test results are published on the COA page and are independently verifiable at janoshik.com/verify using the verification key on each COA.
What HPLC Measures
What is HPLC?+
HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) is an analytical technique that separates, identifies, and quantifies components in a mixture. It is commonly used to determine the purity of a compound by measuring the proportion of the target compound relative to total detected material.
What does a purity result mean?+
A purity result (e.g., ≥99%) means that the target compound represents at least 99% of the total material detected by the HPLC analysis. It does not measure what the remaining material is.
What does purity not establish?+
  • Purity does not confirm the identity of the compound (that requires a separate identity test)
  • Purity does not establish sterility or freedom from endotoxins
  • Purity does not confirm exact vial quantity (that requires an assay test)
  • One report on one batch does not guarantee future batches
Identity Testing
What is identity testing?+
Identity testing confirms that a compound is what it is labeled to be. Mass spectrometry is a common method: it measures the mass-to-charge ratio of molecules and compares the result to a known reference standard for the target compound.
Is identity testing separate from purity testing?+
Yes. Purity and identity are distinct measurements. A compound can test as high-purity while still requiring identity confirmation to verify it is the named substance.
How to Verify a COA
How do I verify a COA independently?+
Visit janoshik.com/verify and enter the verification key printed on the COA. The Janoshik system will return the test record directly, confirming the compound name, lot number, test date, and results.
What should I check on the COA?+
Verify that the product name, lot number, test date, and reported purity match what you received. The verification key on the COA should return a matching record at janoshik.com/verify.
What if a COA is not available for my product?+
Contact us at shopvilolab@gmail.com with the product name and lot number. We will provide documentation as promptly as possible.
